Healthcare Provider CPR Certification
Description:
The BLS for Healthcare Providers Course covers core material such as adult
and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask),
foreign-body airway obstruction, and automated external defibrillation.
Participants will be required to pass a written and skills exam to
successfully complete this course. Audience:
This course is intended for healthcare
providers such as EMS personnel, physician assistants, doctors, dentists,
nurses, and respiratory therapists who must have a credential (card)
documenting successful completion of a CPR course.

Healthcare Provider CPR Re-certification
Description:
The BLS for Healthcare Providers Recertification Course briefly covers core
material such as adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios
and use of the bag mask), foreign-body airway obstruction, and automated
external defibrillation. Participants will be required to pass a written
and skills exam without remediation to successfully complete this course.
Audience:
This course is intended
for currently certified healthcare providers such as EMS personnel,
physician assistants, doctors, dentists, nurses, and respiratory therapists
who are required to recertify a current HCP credential (card).

Skills Verification for Online Certification
Description:
The skills verification
course is the second part of the AHA online BLS course. Participants must
complete the online didactic portion of the course prior to the skills
verification.
Audience:
This course is intended
for currently certified healthcare providers such as EMS personnel,
physician assistants, doctors, dentists, nurses, and respiratory therapists
who are required to recertify a current HCP credential (card).

Heartsaver First Aid, CPR, & AED
Description:
The Heartsaver First
Aid Course teaches how to manage illness and injuries in the first few
minutes until professional help arrives. Course content includes General
Principles, Medical Emergencies, and Injury Emergencies. Optional topics
include CPR and AED, and Environmental Emergencies.
Audience:
For those who have a
duty to respond to a first aid or cardiac emergency because of job
responsibilities or regulatory requirements. This community course is open
to all participants.

Heartsaver CPR & AED
Description:
The Heartsaver AED
Course teaches CPR, AED use, relief of choking in adults and children, and
infant CPR and relief of choking, and use of barrier devices for all ages.
Audience:
This course is intended
for those who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job
responsibilities or regulatory requirements. This community course is open
to all participants.

Description:
The Heartsaver
Pediatric First Aid Course teaches how to manage illness and injuries in a
child in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Topics
include First Aid Basics, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies,
Environmental Emergencies, and CPR, AED and relief of choking.
Audience:
For those involved in
child care who have a duty to respond to a first aid emergency because of
job responsibilities or regulatory requirements, such as child care workers,
teachers, foster care workers, camp counselors, youth organizations, and
coaches for children’s sports organizations.

taught in Spanish using Spanish translated materials.

Kid Care – Babysitter Training 
Description:
Kid Care babysitter
training classes are available for youth ages 11 to 16. Classes include CPR,
first aid, handling emergency situations and more.

PET First Aid, CPR & AED
Description:
The course covers basic first aid including animal
assessment, bleeding control, safety, muscle and bone injuries as well as
environmental emergencies. Participants will also be taught to provide CPR
to an animal utilizing standard safety precautions and techniques.
Audience:
Participants with a need or requirement to have knowledge and practice of
basic first aid and CPR practices for animals.
