Tactical Operational Medical Support Course

Regional Emergency Medical Service Authority or “REMSA” is offering a 45 hour Tactical Operational Medical Support course over a 5 day period. This course has been designed to provide the student with the knowledge and skills necessary to function effectively in major TEMS operational medical components. The cadre consists of experienced, practicing tactical medics, physicians, dentists, veterinarians and local SWAT Teams. 40 CEUs

Current certification at the EMT-Basic level or higher. All applicants must provide a copy of your EMT certification and a letter from your employer, on official company letterhead, as well as the name, rank or title, and contact number of the agency head or authorizing person issuing the letter. Final acceptance into the REMSA TOMS Program is contingent upon this verification process.

Intended Audience

EMT-Basic level or higher providing medical support to a Tactical team.
Breakfast/Lunch included. Dinner and Lodging are the responsibility of the student.
Tactical Uniform and Gear
Students will wear their agency tactical uniform. Bring all of your gear. This includes body armor, helmet, eye protection, gloves, hydration system, medical kit and gas mask.
*Firearms will not be permitted*

Fee: $1250.00 + $200.00 deposit for reservation
Meals and Lodging: Rooms at group rate at Grand Sierra Resort. Contact course coordinator for details.
Class size limited to 15 students.

No refunds within 7 days of class. Deposit refundable 30 days of class.
