Guys and Girls…come out and support women in the fight against heart disease and stroke by running in your favorite red dress, tutu, or other red running gear in the first annual Running Red for Heart 5K. The run will start at Scheels and all proceeds will benefit the American Heart Association in their fight to reduce death and disability from cardiovascular diseases.

Awards for the top finishing female and male runners as well as the best dressed will be presented following the run. All runners, walkers, and supporters will be included in a Hands Only CPR class during the awards presentation.

The run starts at 8:00 am in front of Scheels and travels through parts of Sparks and back to Scheels.  All participants are encouraged to come out in your best red running outfit to show their support for the American Heart Association during Go Red for Women month.
